Summer 2023 is giving detox. People are hopping on the minimal or no-alcohol train in hordes, and we are here for it.
Waking up on a Sunday without a hangover? Sign us up.
Just because you may be choosing to drink less this summer doesn’t mean you can’t still turn up the fun. In fact, you may have even more fun without the hungover Sunday Scaries dragging you down.
And we’ve got the perfect mocktail for you to sip on – because your sober self deserves tasty drinks, too.
Detox while you drink
The best part about this mocktail? Not only does it taste great and is easy to make, but it doubles as a detox.
That’s thanks to the ingredients that are packed with health benefits.
- Mint. This herb aids in digestion, inflammation, and stomach relief.
- Lime juice. This fruit supports digestion and is also a great source of vitamin C, which boosts your immune system.
Introducing the Fauxjito
Few drinks scream “summer” like a mojito does. But we could do without the heaps-of-sugar-and-rum combo that guarantees a headache and a seemingly incurable hangover.
We are stripping the mojito back to something more simple that will make you feel better after drinking it. And we have dubbed it the fauxjito.
Here’s how you make it.
